Do today what others won’t, so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.

Jackson Mayer

With a Masters in Physiotherapy, he has a keen understanding of how to prevent and rehabilitate injury while training.

About Jackson

From a very young age, Jackson was extremely passionate about football (soccer). He started playing as a toddler, and worked his way up to playing at a semi-professional level. His journey through the sport meant he ended up in a gym, where he eventually learnt the basics and developed a passion for fitness. He loves to help people and encourage them to reach their best or achieve something they’ve never done before.

He’s a hard worker who puts his best into everything he does, while also trying to enjoy and have a laugh along the way. As well as being a Personal Trainer, he’s studying a Masters in Physiotherapy, because he’s always been interested in how the body moves and rehabilitation.

Training philosophy

I’m a big believer that the gym should be a place you look forward to going to. So my training philosophy is that what you are doing should be challenging but enjoyable. Fitness and training can often be seen as something serious with no room for enjoyment or fun. But I think if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, it will never be sustainable. Sometimes things may get a bit tough, but knowing that you’ve worked hard or achieved a new PB will always top the pain, mid-set.

Fun facts

  1. I’ve never once in my life drunk coffee or alcohol.
  1. For my first month of living alone, I lived off variations of bacon and eggs (scrambled eggs, carbonara, bacon and egg rolls, etc.) because I didn’t know how to cook.
  1. I received a full scholarship to the Division 1 NCAA college UCLA to play football (soccer).
